William Reynolds Announces Candidacy for Bethlehem
City Council BETHLEHEM, PA - Lifelong Bethlehem resident J. William Reynolds has announced that he will kick off his campaign for Bethlehem City Council on Monday January 29 at The Bethlehem Brew Works at 7 PM. Reynolds, who works as a Legislative Aide to State Representative Steve Samuelson, will make his announcement in front of friends, family, current elected officials, and supporters who share his desire to make sure Bethlehem continues its transition into a vibrant 21st century urban community. “I am running because I want to make sure that I get to raise a family in the same type of community that I have had the pleasure of working and living in my whole life.” Reynolds said. Reynolds, a Liberty High School and Moravian College graduate, plans to focus on and discuss several issues that he feels will be vital to the future of Bethlehem including the impending development of Bethworks, an improved application of the city’s community policing effort, the continuation of economic revitalization efforts throughout the city, and a commitment to honest, open, responsive city government.
